I have always been fascinated by video games and always enjoyed playing them, so as I got older, naturally I wanted to know exactly how they were made and how they functioned. When I first found out, I`ll admit I was a bit overwhelmed, mainly because I didn`t know how people started making them, like what the first step was. But, over time I discovered it was because of tons of math and computer science that games got made, so I decided then, that when I got older I would become a gameplay programmer, and create my own video games. But, as fate would have it, I strayed from my path, and wound up in a state of confusion as to what to do when it came to actually settling down and making games. So, I took a computer science course in my first year of high school, and learned the basics of python, but after that semester, I wanted to learn more and didn`t really know where to look, so I just searched google and found codecademy, and got maybe halfway through the python course before thinking, `I want to make games, and python isn`t really a game making language`, and went to youtube to learn c# for unity3d. After finishing Brackeys c# tutorial, I realized if I mastered python before switching to a different language, then learning relatively any other language would be easier. Finally, I found a youtube python tutorial for beginners that I think will suit my needs, and I will also continue with my codecademy studies! Any questions I have in the world of programming will be brought here. Thanks for reading if you made it this far down!
