I have worked for some large IT companies and organisations like EDS, AT&T, BT, and the EU. I have a good set of technical skills and like to think of my self as an all rounder. Prefer to work on Unix/Linux platforms but get along fine with Microsoft platforms too. Oracle is my database of choice but have had some experience with MySql and must admit that I do feel it is a good choice for smaller businesses. Could say the same for Oracle Apex. I will be looking to get my programing skills to a good level with python, fully OO and get a good knowledge of its functional capabilities, i.e. be a pythonic as possible with my coding endeavour. I seem to have a knack at predicting trends in technology and some other areas of business. I picked up a long time ago that python was a versatile language that was easy to use when putting together a python script that could navigate to websites, strip out the email addresses from the contacts and automate spam e-mails, all with python and a little regular expression. Block chain is an area that will experience a lot of growth due to its accountability. This is not only applicable to electronic currencies like bitcoin. I think the future is bright and I wish to move forward with technologies that are as dynamic as life its self.
