Throughout my life I`ve been interested in technical things, be it electronic, or computing. Spent some things coding at various levels, from switches on the front of a rack to program it manually, via assembler, to quite a few high level languages. Unfortunately, to advance my wages, I had to move from coding to management, but tried to to the odd bit as a hobby e.g. rewriting my version of minesweeper in Basic, C, Java, etc... I`ve recently retired early following VR, and have rekindled past hobbies such as course fishing, and HAM radio. it is the later which has resparked the coding, as I spotted a PC based morse code teaching program which I thought would be a great on Android devices (i.e. learn morse on the bus, train, office, etc.). I contacted the author, from New Zealand as it happens, who has kindly sent me the Delphi source code for reference, as I`m now attempting to create my own Android based version... The coding part should be no real problem, it`s the learning how to do things under Android, and I am very happy that stackoverflow exists to help me along the way...
