I am an apple geek learning in`s and out`s of the Apple hardware and software capabilities by learning terminal/unix, AppleScript, automator, objective-c, and cocoa scripting up to an advanced level to automate mundane tasks for both personal and professional reasons. The reason I am interested in mastering automation on the mac is because I would like to free up more of my time so I can focus on living with more variety in my life. For example, I enjoy hiking out in nature on local trails, studying my earth-centered faith/religion, pursue continued professional education in holistic health, and also improve my art illustration skills. In short, do less mundane tasks, to gain more time in doing I most want out of my life.
