[email protected] Mobile: +962775203424 Taher Badinjki, has an MLitt from Edinburgh University and a PhD from Glasgow University (UK), and is presently Professor of English Literature at the Dept. of English at Al Zaytoonah University, Amman, Jordan. He is former Professor of English at the Dept. of English Literature, and the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Aleppo in Syria (1997-2000), and the Dean of the College of Arts and the College of Education at Ittihad University in RAK, United Arab Emirates (2004-2008). He is the recipient of multiple awards, including Fulbright and British Council grants; and the Prize for the Translation of Literary Genres in the UAE. He has published and translated a number of books in Lebanon, Syria, the UAE, Jordan, and Singapore. He has also published more than twenty refereed research papers on English and American Literature, Translation, and Arabicization in Australia, Canada, Syria, India, USA, UAE, Malaysia, Pakistan, and Jordan. He has been working in the field of English Literature, translation and Arabicization for over 20 years. He has taught English Language and Literature at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
