I am blind in one eye, and can`t hear out of the other. Seriously, though, I suppose I didn`t read the site rules/mores with due diligence, and I apologise. Perhaps your site should have an eye-test. And I was embarassed to find that my responses were not only in the wrong place, but...chatty. Now chatty fellows do not become rancorous as the person suggested (unless due to the current political situation), they become... miffed. To the bone of contention. A word (or phrase, or do I misrecall?) for an onerous task that one performs for a desired outcome, performs diligently. I don`t think a single English word can do that. I suggested a neologism, a not-very-good-one (wracking my brain for a portmanteau but none came to me)-- and used that one- unthusiasm-- you can see that it is up to the mark. But it does not violate the conditions. Confronted with a new word, I expect to see it used in a sentence, and when I provided that courtesy the person called me out of bounds. I became miffed.
