I`ve been licensed for 55 years (and an ARRL member since the beginning) and an Amateur Extra Class licensee for more than 40. I`ve held K5EI since soon after passing the Extra test. I have degrees in physics and computer science and am also interested in reading (mostly non-fiction and mysteries) and history. My principal ham radio interest is antenna theory and experimentation. I operate almost exclusively on VHF and UHF so the antennas I model are usually small enough to be constructed and tested in my backyard. I hope to get involved in digital operation on HF this year (2019). ©
