Played my first video game at the age of four which was also the time I learnt about computer viruses(trojans, malware, spyware including the names via Symantec), firewalls, formating hard drives in MS-DOS and handling different versions of Windows over time(2000 Server, NT, 95, XP, Vista, 7, 8 and 10 with all the service packs). I started playing piano at the age of seven which helped me increase my computer typing speed(stenography) to a degree where it surpassed my handwriting speed. At the age of eleven I started to code my own games and macros(creating automated e-mail replies and looped other data entry tasks). This was done using Visual Studio.NET. Starting with Visual Basic and later on with C# and C++. A few years later I learnt the basics of HTML, XML and CSS through the website called Lunarstorm. During my free time I used to draw my own costumes, cars and sculpted models in clay to be used in the games I was making. This was by the time in which I won prizes for my musical knowledge. By the age of 18 I had made a RPG game in the software RPG Maker 2000 and later XP which was using the framework Ruby on Rails. I also wrote more than a dozen short stories, intended to be used in my own games or CGI-animated shorts. During my college years I was studying engineering. It was also by the time in which I learnt how to program in Ada 95, Emacs, Gnatmake, Matlab, AMPL and Solaris Sun Unix(Linux). After the college years I decided to pursue futher programming on my own. This was due to college only scratching the surface of Ada and Java. That was also by the time I got to work for a company that handled the steering(embedded) systems for cars in Java/Eclipse. Lately, I have taught myself programming in both JavaScript and Python for game development as well as data science for automating and procedurally generating solutions. I also pursued certificates in photoshop, photography and graphic design due to game/web development. Now I have also been learning Blender, Maya, Unity and Unreal through Game School Online at the same time as I learn Game Design from Will Wright through Masterclass and Computer Animation(Pixar). I am currently working on personal projects in different game engines as well as assisting some in Crowdforge. Links:
