6. FRANCK MONTMESSIN

Information acquired: 2025

FRANCK MONTMESSIN is an academic who published a paper in 2022 entitled Ozone vertical distribution in Mars Years 27-30 from SPICAM/MEX UV occultations. FRANCK MONTMESSIN published this work as part of a team: Montmessin, Franck. Here is a description of this work: Thi,, dataset provides ozone vertical profiles analzed using SPICAM/MEX ultraviolet spectrometer data. SPICAM solar and stellar occultations from 2004 until 2014 have been used, spanning altogether four Martian Years. Stellar occultations probe the nightside atmosphere and solar occultations are acquired at sunrise or sunset. The inversion of these occultations was followed by a rigorous quality check of the retrievals to eliminate non, detections. The dataset published here includes information on the quality check and the quality flags attributed to each spectrum. The dataset is related to a paper in revision in Icarus (Maeaettaenen et al. 2022). Reference (article) : TO BE UPDATED: A. Maeaettaenen, F. Lefèvre, F. Montmessin, C. Listowski, S. Guilbon, A. Fedorova and O. Korablev: Climatology of the ozone vertical distribution on Mars from SPICAM/MEX UV occultat.
