Hi! I am a student planning to go into Computer Science. I graduated from Home-school in the summer of 2017. Since then I have been studying Data Analytics online using Power BI and Excel Power Query. I really like data cleaning and modeling, and have enjoyed learning the DAX language. In the fall of 2017, I began my studies with Microsoft Office. Using online courses such as Lynda.com and EdX.org, I was able to pass six tests to become a Microsoft Office Specialist Master 2016. (What a mouthful!) These skills have been very useful in enabling me to help others. I was able to create an interactive user-form for a professional acquaintance by learning a little VBA code in Word 2016. I find that the more I learn, the more there is to learn! Then, throughout the summer and early fall of 2018, I studied for and passed the Microsoft exam, 70-778 Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Power BI. In January of 2019, I studied for and passed the Microsoft Exam, 70-779 Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Microsoft Excel, to become an MCSA. I hope to use these skills to clean, model, and visualize data in order to help businesses make more informed decisions.
