In 2008 I permanently joined the staff of Biosensor S.r.l., based in Italy, taking on the task of participating in the following projects: AGROBIOSENS, MULTITASKS, MOMA, BIO-NUTRA, BEEP-C-EN, BIOAL, NIGHT VISION, PHOTOEVOLUTION, MICROBIOSIS, relating to the creation of software, hardware and technological solutions for industries in the field of biosensor development and services for water and food analysis. The main activities in which I was involved were: drafting of technical documents for reporting, design and drawing of the final prototype, presentation of projects. In 2009 I won a further research grant from the National Research Council (hereinafter CNR) for the “NUTRA-SNACKS†project, “Ready to eat food for breakfast and sport activity with high content of nutraceutics preventing disease and promoting public healthâ€. In 2010 I obtained a research grant, again at the CNR, for the “MULTIBIOPLAT†project, the aim of which was essentially the creation of a new biotechnological platform for biosensors. In 2012 I obtained a PhD in Sensory and Learning Systems Engineering at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" discussing the thesis entitled "Biosensors based on microarray and nanowire systems: study, design, construction, calibration and applications ". Technical skills developed: electrochemical technique to measure biological material using amperometry, medical measurement techniques for neurological degeneration using micro electrodes (MEA). From 2012 to 2015 I won a post-doc research grant at the CNR biomedical technology institute relating to the PON research project “VIRTUALAB†“Advanced Systems of Biomedical Mechatronics, of Medical Diagnosis and Therapy based on Virtual and Augmented Reality, on Microelectronics and on high throughput robotic laboratories". This scientific research project was aimed at developing technological innovation processes for the transfer of technologies to businesses. From 2015 to 2017 I won the Colombian scientists` prize, resulting in a post-doc contract, at the National University of Colombia, financed with the INSELFO project "Study, analysis and development of an electrical energy generation system using photovoltaic cells composed of organic and inorganic cells". From 2017 to 2019 I won a research grant becoming a "Senior" fellow and collaborator at the CNR biomedical technology institute for the INTEROMICS project, "Development of a Network of skills for the development of "omics" applications of Bioinformatics to Biomedicine". From 2020 to 2022 my collaboration continues at the National University of Colombia, I mainly collaborate on two lines of research: gas monitoring (Co and H2) in environmental systems and thermoelectric materials. 2022 I will return as a technologist to the CNR in Milan with a permanent employment contract and will soon be working at the service of the new Institute of Intelligent Industrial Systems and Technologies for Advanced Manufacturing. ©
