My personal focus is on woodworking (and teaching classes there), computer stuff (electronics and playing with code) and photography. One of the examples is a project I’m working on with my grandkids at - that is the web site I’m always playing with built on raspberry pi, windows, Mac and Linus systems I have access too. The code is running on them using perl, bash, python, mySQL, and php. I use my wood shop to create the holder for a rpi outside, with a camera taking pictures. And I will keep playing with the grandkids in the woodshop to build or fix, the feeder as needed. —————————— My professional focus for the past two decades has been to deliver measurable performance improvement, proactive innovation, and increase in technical fitness for well-established organizations. Throughout my career, I have been acknowledged as a goal-focused expert always ready to go above and beyond to achieve both strategic and business goals while furthering standards of excellence. As Solution Architect/Director for Amdocs Inc., I led the analysis, design, and development of commercially viable end-to-end technical solutions for the customers. Before this, I was Director, Web Architecture in the same company. In this capacity, I delivered well-rounded architecture support for NA Division services including Architecture and Design support for portal-based solution planning at major telecom companies. I have refined my strengths through more than 20 years of experience in the Online Information Services industry, where I have leveraged expertise in technical strategy, evangelism, enterprise architecture, software engineering, and client consulting. The following is a snapshot of my broader career achievements and the value I will bring:  Drove efficiency by migrating teams away from SOAP-based application services to REST-based micro-services.  Led the team to design and successfully deliver an SOA based ESB for MetroPCS. This included developing procedures, implementations, and guidelines around best practices for the SOA team as well as for the service providers and consumers connected through the ESB solution.  Consolidated 19 similar project efforts into a single platform solution, increasing resource availability for product development while implementing a vision for a single system to utilize videos owned and managed by AOL.
