Having fallen, quite roughly with a huge bump, into Drupal and CiviCRM; I am now increasingly self-taught in a number of tech and online projects and trends. BY DAY (or Night) : I work for Network Rail as a Signaller. Around the clock, I work with colleagues to man one of the North/South freight gateways on the fringe of the London commuter belt. BY NIGHT : I have volunteered for a number of organisations within the Hospital Radio community at both a local and national level. Over the course of 20 years I include being the Chairman of Portsmouth Hospital Broadcasting, now re-branded as QA Radio, as well as working at a national level for the Hospital Broadcasting Association as their (and I use the term loosely) `webmaster` and prior to that Members Newsletter Editor. I was self-taught on pretty much every aspect of my voluntary work, having employment completely at a tangent. BY WAY OF FUN : I don`t get time for much, but you will occasionally find me driving badly (or indeed under the influence of a nice wine), being shot, slashed, or destroying cities online, on my (which no-one ever watches, so it is not too bad).
